2. Nature of the Service
File Compression is a free information-society service: a browser-local still-image compressor for JPEG, PNG, and WebP. There is no price, subscription, in-app purchase, or paid contract attached to the public tool. If prices are ever introduced, they will be shown clearly, in EUR or RON as required, with taxes stated.
The Service does not provide legal, medical, or archival advice. Output is produced by the browser encoder on your device.
3. Hosting
The published static artifact is hosted by Netlify. The production hostname is compress.alexjungean.com. A default host URL also exists at crushd-compress.netlify.app. Git-triggered host rebuilds are not used for release; the operator uploads a tested artifact.

4. Intellectual property

You may use the public Service under the Terms of Use. That use is not a licence to copy the software, documentation, or brand assets except as needed to display the pages in a standard browser.
5. Notices about the public pages
The Service does not host user files. There is no user-generated file for us to remove from a server. If you believe the public pages themselves (text, logo, or code as served) infringe your rights, send a notice to alex.jungean@gmail.com including:
- your name and contact email;
- the work you claim and the exact URL;
- a description of the alleged infringement;
- a good-faith statement that the use is not authorised;
- a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rightsholder or are authorised to act.
We will assess notices about the pages we publish. We cannot delete a file that exists only on another person’s device.
6. Liability for information
Public copy describes only implemented, tested behaviour. We do not claim reviews, certifications, file limits, or guarantees that are not evidenced. Links to other sites are informational. We do not control those sites.
7. Applicable law
The Service is operated from Romania and is offered as an English-language tool. Romanian law and applicable EU law govern the operator’s information duties. Contractual terms are in the Terms of Use.
9. Document control
Version 1.0, effective 20 August 2026. English is the operative text of the Service. The Romanian version below is a complete translation.

2. Natura Serviciului
File Compression este un serviciu gratuit al societății informaționale: un compresor de imagini statice, local în browser, pentru JPEG, PNG și WebP. Nu există preț, abonament sau contract plătit atașat instrumentului public. Dacă vor exista prețuri, vor fi afișate clar, cu taxele precizate.
3. Găzduire
Artifactul static publicat este găzduit de Netlify. Hostname-ul de producție este compress.alexjungean.com. Informații de confidențialitate ale gazdei: https://www.netlify.com/privacy/.
4. Proprietate intelectuală
© 2026 Jungean-Herman Marius-Alexandru. Toate drepturile rezervate, cu excepția drepturilor asupra fișierelor tale și a drepturilor din licențe terțe. Folosirea publică este reglementată de Termenii de utilizare.
5. Notificări privind paginile publice
Serviciul nu găzduiește fișiere de utilizator. Dacă considerați că paginile publice (text, logo sau cod servit) vă încalcă drepturile, trimiteți o notificare la alex.jungean@gmail.com, cu datele de contact, opera, URL-ul exact, descrierea pretinsei încălcări și declarațiile de bună-credință și de exactitate.
6. Răspunderea pentru informații
Textul public descrie doar comportamentul implementat și testat. Nu pretindem recenzii, certificări sau garanții fără probe. Linkurile către alte site-uri sunt informative.
7. Legea aplicabilă
Serviciul este operat din România și este oferit ca instrument în limba engleză. Legea română și dreptul UE aplicabil reglementează obligațiile de informare ale prestatorului. Clauzele contractuale sunt în Termenii de utilizare.
